FROM OUR DIRECTOR:

“The Treehouse continues to go from strength to strength and we are very proud of what we have achieved. It is a privilege to work with the many children, young people and families we have helped ... and from whom we have learnt so much!”

“Always at the heart of what we do is the unshakable belief that every person is unique and has within them their own solutions to their own problems.

Through our therapeutic expertise, our role at the Treehouse is to provide the creative catalyst and the support to a child or young person, to help him or her understand their problems and move through them and ultimately beyond them.”

About Us

Based near Maldon, The Tree House is run by Nadia Habul, an experienced state registered Creative Arts Psychotherapist who has successfully practiced for over 20 years and holds a Masters Degree in Playtherapy and Post-Graduate Diplomas in Dramatherapy, and Counselling.

Nadia's specialism is in working as a dramatherapist and play therapist and she is supported by a team of qualified counsellors and therapists from several different disciplines who are brought in when their particular expertise offers the best therapeutic treatment path. The work of the Treehouse is inspired by the "person-centered" approach of Carl Rodgers. See here ...

Nadia has experience of working with a wide range of people, many of them experiencing complex emotional difficulties such as eating and self-harm issues. Nadia has also worked at the sharpest-end of what people can go through. For example, she has worked with young people who have experienced extreme abuse and trauma and have even been suicidal.

The Treehouse also provides specialist therapy support services to other organisations in both the Statutory and Voluntary sectors.
